Easy Pinwheel Funfold using SAB free dsp.

Hello everyone, how are you all doing??

Excuse the lack of posts just lately; after a slight health hiatus that ended up in a few days stay in hospital I am gradually feeling more like a litttle crafting.

The card I have for you today was inspired by a lady called Karen Titus, and it's an easy pinwheel funfold - that fits easily into a standard 6" x 4" envelope.

I made the above card using boho-blue cardstock and dsp from Countryside Inn. The hello was cut using the new mini alpabet dies, 162934 from the new mini catalogue.

To make this card you will need your usual card base - it can be made in either tent or side fold.  I used a 4 1/8" by full A4 length piece, scorded and folded at 5 7/8", to make my tent fold card.  A piece of white cardstock for the inside, and a piece of dsp 3 7/8" x 5 5/8" for the front of the card.

To make the Pinwheel element you will need a piece of 6" x 6" dsp.  Gently score and fold the dsp on all four sides at 1 1/2".  Then remove all four corner squares so that you have a piece of dsp looking like this.

The dsp should then be folded and scored on all four sides.  Mark up from the bottom of each folded piece 1 1/2" from the bottom like this:
Place your ruler from the mark to the inner corner at the bottom and fold your dsp up -

Do this on all four sides.  Then the last edge needs to be tucked under the first.  This should result in a folded piece of dsp looking like this:
I then adherred this to a piece of cardstock measuring 3 1/4" x 3 1/4" and stuck this to the front of my card.

To finish off I die cut Hello from cardstock and popped this along the bottom of my card.  I made a second card in dsp from the Sale-a-bration catalogue called softly stippled.  I recorded myself making this card, so do look out for my video coming to You-tube very soon.

Which of the two cards, do you prefer?

Sale-a-bration is now into the final month, and Stampin' Up! have added more goodies to the free items.  You can qualify for any of these items by making a qualifying purchaes from any of our current catalogues.

If you would like any of the current catalogues please email me at nuttyhazecrafts@gmail.com I'd be glad to send you them.

Happy crafting!
